LEGENDARY: Making of a K-pop Star
I t’s not easy being famous. After 20-hour-long film days and recording lyrics line-by-line in the middle of the night, that was my biggest learning during our week of filming “LEGENDARY: Making of a K-pop Star.” “LEGENDARY” follows the adventures of Alex Christine as she travels from her hometown in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Seoul, South Korea to experience the ~star treatment for the first time. Alex is the winner of “Rising Legends: Season 2,” a talent search competition project I led to unearth the hidden talents of K-pop fans around the world, and “LEGENDARY” is the continuation of that story. With 3.4 million total views, “LEGENDARY” made a debut at #1 in watch-time on “CREATED by Viki,” Rakuten Viki’s short-form initiative.
